Elton John reflects on emotional experience singing about his death
Elton John recently shared an emotional experience while singing a new song about his death. He received lyrics from collaborator Bernie Taupin for a song titled "When This Whole World Is Done With Me" and was surprised to find it focused on his mortality. During an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, Elton described how he became overwhelmed after realizing the song's theme. He took a break for 45 minutes to regain his composure before recording the track the next day. Elton's upcoming album, "Who Believes In Angels?", is set to be released on April 4. He recorded the song in one take, adding a brass band at the end for a poignant touch.
