Elon Musk opens Montessori preschool in Texas accepting applications for 2024-25 school year

Elon Musk has opened a Montessori preschool named Ad Astra in Bastrop, Texas, about 30 miles from Austin. The school is accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year and will focus on hands-on, project-based learning for children aged three to nine. Ad Astra will integrate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) into its curriculum. The school has received a permit to operate with up to 21 students and is located on a 40-acre property with a renovated home. Initially, tuition will be subsidized to help families, but fees will later align with local private schools. The school aims to foster curiosity and critical thinking in its students.
