Elevador da Glória accident kills 16; all victims identified

Sixteen people died in the Elevador da Glória accident. All fatalities have been identified. Investigators suspect all 16 victims were passengers, though they are not ruling out the possibility of someone being struck outside the elevator. Nine bodies have been moved. The elevator, with a capacity of 42, was reportedly carrying around thirty people at the time of the incident on Wednesday evening.
