Eldora hosts para alpine competitions for adaptive skiers

Eldora Mountain Resort is hosting para alpine competitions featuring top adaptive skiers on its La Belle trail. The event includes giant slalom and slalom races sanctioned by the Federation of International Skiing. The races, running from Wednesday to Friday, attract national and international athletes aiming for spots in the 2026 Winter Paralympics. Teams from various U.S. locations are participating, with events designed for skiers with visual and mobility impairments. Spectators can attend the races, which start daily at 9:30 a.m. Access to the venue requires skis or a snowboard and a valid ticket. Organizers hope to make this an annual event to promote para sports in the local community.
