Elche to host Alicante's first AI communication lab

The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) in Elche will launch ComunIA, its new Center for Communication and Artificial Intelligence, on October 16, positioning the Alicante province as a leader in AI-driven communication. The center aims to train professionals in fields like journalism, advertising, and corporate communication, connecting academic knowledge with business needs. Its initial offering includes four practical micro-credentials covering strategic branding, AI agents, and search positioning. ComunIA is part of a broader catalog of 57 micro-credentials across six training lines, with custom programs for companies. The free launch event features demonstrations, a hackathon, and a talk by AI influencer Jon Hernández.
