Egypt and the United States repatriate over 5,000 artifacts

Egypt has recovered over 5,000 illegally exported artifacts through cooperation with the United States. This repatriation is part of a long-standing partnership that also includes archaeological excavations, restoration projects, and capacity building for heritage professionals. The collaboration, spanning over a century, aims to preserve Egyptian heritage and boost tourism, with 50 American archaeological missions currently active in Egypt.
