Education minister Desmond Lee emphasizes critical thinking for students using AI

Singapore's Education Minister Desmond Lee urged students to maintain critical thinking skills amidst the increasing integration of AI in education. He cautioned against "cognitive offloading," where students let AI do their thinking, even as AI learning tools are encouraged. The Ministry of Education plans AI modules for all levels to prepare students for a future with AI.
