Eddie Redmayne recently shared a humorous memory from his 2011 screen test with Taylor Swift for Les Misérables. He recalled eating garlic bread beforehand, which made the intimate audition awkward as he tried to maintain distance while creating chemistry. Redmayne was already cast as Marius, while Swift auditioned for Eponine. Although she did not get the role, which went to Samantha Barks, Redmayne described the experience as "amazing."
