Eatery worker detained for assaulting traffic cop in Hadapsar

A 31-year-old eatery worker, Tejasvi Keshav Sharma, was detained by Hadapsar police for attacking a traffic policeman. The incident began when Sharma was confronted for manhandling an elderly man at Raskar Chowk. Sharma reportedly threw a stone at a car, leading to a dispute. When the elderly man tried to intervene, Sharma pushed him, causing the man to fall. As a traffic constable assisted the elderly man, Sharma attacked him, obstructing his duty. Sharma was taken into custody and sent for a medical examination. An FIR for the attack is being processed.
