Hwacheon KSPO WFC is South Korea’s defending WK League champion and will debut in the competition, featuring three national team players from the recent Asian Cup. Ho Chi Minh City is a 14-time Vietnamese champion and reached last season’s semifinals, led by veteran striker Huynh Nhu. 4.25 Sports Club, North Korea’s nine-time domestic champion, debuts with a squad of national players from a team ranked 11th in FIFA.
