E-bike collision in downtown Toronto sends 3 to hospital

Three people were taken to hospital after an e-bike collision in downtown Toronto on Tuesday morning, with one person in serious condition. The crash occurred around 10:35 a.m. near Parliament Street and Wellesley Street East. Paramedics transported four people total, including a person in their 40s to a trauma centre in serious but stable condition, and a child, a man in his 30s, and a woman in her 30s with minor injuries. Police said all involved remained at the scene, and the cause is unknown. Parliament Street between Wellesley Street East and Carlton Street has reopened after being closed, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
