Dylan Sampson ruled out for rest of Week 1 with knee injury
Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson was ruled out for the remainder of Week 1 after suffering a knee injury in the first quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He left the game and did not return. Sampson initially went to the medical tent and walked to the locker room under his own power. He attempted to warm up on the sidelines in the second quarter but eventually returned to the locker room. Quinshon Judkins and Raheim Sanders will handle the running back workload for the rest of the game. Sampson had two kick returns for 64 yards before exiting, an area where his absence will be most felt. He is considered a solid option for third-down duties and a decent play in deeper PPR fantasy leagues when healthy, particularly in formats rewarding return yardage.
