Dunleavy's Pub marks 30 years of Polar Plunge with $44,847 donation to Special Olympics South Carolina

Dunleavy's Pub celebrated its 30th annual New Year's Polar Plunge by donating $44,847 to Special Olympics South Carolina. This amount is over $3,300 more than last year's donation of $41,540. The funds support sports programs and opportunities for athletes, who never pay to participate. Special Olympics provides uniforms, travel, and accommodations at no cost. Dunleavy's has raised nearly $600,000 for the organization over 20 years. Special Olympics South Carolina currently serves about 30,000 athletes and aims to expand through outreach programs like Project Unity.
