Dulquer Salmaan's Malayalam film I'm Game faced major technical and delivery problems on its September 3 release day, including content delays, no sound, stuck frames, and cancelled screenings, sparking widespread complaints on X. Theatres in Kerala, Hyderabad, and Chennai reported missing subtitles, delayed content delivery, and cancelled Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi shows, with some venues receiving the Malayalam version only on release morning. Audience members at affected screenings were heard loudly complaining about the disruptions. The film, directed by Nahas Hidhayath and produced by Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, collected ₹31 lakh from 633 shows by 11 AM with 33% occupancy. Its release was postponed from August 20 to September 3, and it now faces an uncertain box office outlook.
