Ducati Monster with 890cc V2 engine to launch in India on August 10

Ducati will launch the updated Monster in India on August 10 with a new 890cc V2 engine, replacing the previous 937cc unit, likely at a higher price than Rs 13.84 lakh. The engine produces about 111 hp and 91.1 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and standard bi-directional quickshifter. The bike is 4kg lighter, and valve checks are now due every 45,000km. The design revives a muscular fuel tank, reworked headlight, and larger TFT display. It will rival the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, KTM 990 Duke, BMW F 900 R, and Kawasaki Z900.
