Dubois reflects on struggles during Kings tenure
Pierre-Luc Dubois returns to Los Angeles for the first time since a challenging season with the Kings. He scored 40 points in 82 games, his lowest average in nine years, and struggled with reduced ice time. After being traded to the Washington Capitals in the 2024 off-season, Dubois has rebounded, averaging 17:19 minutes and on track to exceed 70 points for the first time in his career. He credits the Capitals' coaching staff for his success. Kings head coach Jim Hiller expressed satisfaction with Dubois's progress, noting that the organization always recognized his talent. Hiller acknowledged that circumstances in Los Angeles were not ideal for Dubois.
