A girl injured in a knife attack in Dublin's Parnell Square is now creating art and communicating more effectively, according to her family. She spent over 370 days in the hospital after the attack on November 23, 2023. The family shared that she can now engage in conversation through her eyes and smiles. They noted her progress during a recent outpatient appointment, expressing relief as they passed the site of the incident. A man, Riad Bouchaker, has been charged with attempted murder and assault related to the attack. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a kitchen knife.
