Dublin girl injured in stabbing shows remarkable recovery
A six-year-old girl injured in a stabbing in Dublin's Parnell Square is now able to communicate through art and expressions. Her family reports she engages with smiles and sounds, showing significant progress since the attack in November 2023. The girl spent over 370 days in the hospital after the incident, which also injured two other children and a creche worker. Her family shared that she is thriving and has shown no trauma from the event. A man, Riad Bouchaker, has been charged with attempted murder and assault related to the attack. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a kitchen knife used in the incident.
