Drunk driver crashes SUV into three vehicles on busy road in Rajkot

A 28-year-old eatery owner, Raj Gami, was arrested for drunk driving after crashing his SUV into three vehicles on Kalawad Road in Rajkot. The incident occurred on Friday evening, prompting police action. Gami was charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for rash driving, as well as the Gujarat Prohibition Act and the Motor Vehicles Act. He was found intoxicated and unable to stand when police arrived. The crash took place at KKV Chowk, a busy area connecting Kalawad Road and 150 Feet Ring Road, frequented by many visitors and commuters.
