Drones hit Moscow region homes and factory, 56 downed

Drones attacked the Moscow region overnight, damaging two apartment buildings and a factory. Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported 56 drones were destroyed by the morning of September 3. In Kubinka, a drone hit a building on Naro-Fominsk Highway, causing fires on the eighth and ninth floors and a balcony on the seventh. Ten people were evacuated, with no reported injuries. Another drone struck a house in Pavlovsky Posad, breaking windows in eight apartments without causing a fire. A drone also hit a factory in Bolshoye Bunkovo, starting a fire. The attack was ongoing in multiple districts, including Naro-Fominsk, Odintsovo, Mozhaisk, and Serpukhov. Emergency services were working at the factory site.
