Drone that entered from Romania explodes near Bulgarian gas pipeline

An unidentified drone exploded in Bulgaria near the Romanian border, about 1,000 meters from a Trans-Balkan gas pipeline compressor station, causing no casualties or damage. Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev said the drone entered Bulgarian airspace from Romania. Romanian border police recorded its sound; Bulgarian police heard the explosion. Neither country's authorities detected the drone during its flight, he added. The explosion occurred near the former Kardam border crossing. No injuries or infrastructure damage were reported.
