Drone sightings at RAF bases raise concerns of foreign intelligence links

Recent drone sightings over three RAF bases in East Anglia have raised concerns about potential links to Russia or China. The drones were observed between November 20 and 22, coinciding with U.S. plans to deploy nuclear weapons at RAF Lakenheath. Nick Pope, a former UFO expert, suggested that foreign powers might use drones for intelligence gathering related to nuclear capabilities. However, he also noted that the most likely explanation is that the drones are operated by hobbyists or plane spotters. The Ministry of Defence is treating the incursions as a criminal investigation. They have not confirmed any hostile intent and maintain that security measures are in place at defense sites.
