Drone from Romania explodes near Bulgaria's Black Sea gas pipeline

An explosive drone from Romania detonated near Bulgaria's Trans-Balkan gas pipeline, close to the Black Sea, prompting an emergency national security meeting; no casualties or damage were reported. Prime Minister Rumen Radev said the blast occurred 100 meters inside Bulgaria, near a compression station. Romanian border police detected the drone’s sound before the explosion, and NATO monitoring gave no advance warning. Specialists are identifying the drone.
