A drone explosion near a strategic gas pipeline in Bulgaria has strained ties between Kyiv and Sofia; Bulgaria says the drone type is commonly used by Ukraine. Bulgaria’s Defense Ministry said debris analysis showed no sign of a deliberate incident, but summoned Ukraine’s ambassador for Monday. Kyiv denied intentionally directing any aircraft toward Bulgaria and said it was in contact to clarify the circumstances. The drone exploded near the Kardam border crossing, 1,000 meters from a Trans-Balkan pipeline compressor station. Separately, Ukraine attacked two Russian oil refineries, causing fires.
