A drone carrying a large amount of explosives entered the airspace of NATO and EU member Bulgaria and exploded, with no reported injuries or damage. Prime Minister Rumen Radew said it exploded on Bulgarian territory 100 meters from the Romanian border, near the Kardam crossing and 1,000 meters from the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline's compressor station. Border police and defense teams are investigating the drone's origin. The Ukraine war is raging only a few hundred kilometers from Bulgaria.
