Driver injured after vehicle falls from Sacramento overpass onto busy freeway

Dashcam footage captured a vehicle flying off the Interstate 5 overpass in Sacramento on Presidents' Day, landing on a busy freeway below. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. and resulted in injuries to the driver only. The driver was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Police closed West El Camino Avenue to clear the area following the accident. No other injuries were reported. Witnesses described the scene as shocking, with debris falling onto the freeway. The driver was the sole person involved in the incident.
