Domestic shorthairs most likely to go missing in UK

New research from Go Compare pet insurance has identified the cat breeds most likely to go missing in the UK. The top breed is the domestic shorthair, followed by tabbies and British shorthairs. Other breeds in the top ten include Bengal, Siamese, and Ragdoll cats. The study analyzed data from the National Pet Register to determine these findings. Terriers were found to be the most frequently lost dog breed, with Jack Russells and Spaniels also making the list. The research highlights the importance of microchipping pets for identification.
