DNEG and Stars Collective team up to launch immersive theater in China

DNEG and Stars Collective are partnering to create immersive theater experiences in China. They plan to develop virtual reality venues and expand into Southeast Asia and North America. DNEG will provide technology and content, while Stars Collective has established experience stores in China. The partnership is supported by Pathbender Media Holdings’ MINT Fund, which will back various immersive projects. Stars Collective aims to reach 100 locations worldwide by 2025, enhancing opportunities for filmmakers and creators in the industry. DNEG's Global CEO sees this collaboration as part of their expansion strategy. The company has a history of working on major films and is diversifying its services through its new immersive experiences division, DNEG IXP.
