Dionela's 'Marilag' becomes first number one on Official Philippines Chart

Dionela’s song “Marilag” has become the first number one on The Official Philippines Chart, launched by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). The chart ranks popular tracks from both local and international artists. “Marilag,” released in November 2024, leads the chart, followed by Dionela’s other songs “Sining” and “Oksihina,” along with tracks from artists like TJ Monterde and Bruno Mars. The chart will be updated weekly based on streaming data from major platforms. The IFPI aims to reflect music consumption in the Philippines and collaborate with local organizations to ensure accurate tracking of popular songs. Other Southeast Asian countries will also have their own versions of the IFPI charts.
