Dick Van Dyke hosts fundraiser after fire threat

Dick Van Dyke, 99, hosted a fire relief fundraiser in Malibu with his wife, Arlene Silver, two months after the Palisades Fire threatened their home. He performed with his a cappella group, The Vantastix, at the event. The couple's $8 million home was at risk, but they did not evacuate. Their guest house caught fire but sustained minimal damage. They lived on a gas generator during the wildfire. Despite health concerns, Van Dyke appeared in good spirits at the fundraiser. He previously evacuated during a different fire in December but has expressed no desire to leave Malibu.
