Devajit Saikia and Prabhtej Bhatia to be elected as BCCI secretary and treasurer

Devajit Saikia and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia will be officially elected as the BCCI secretary and treasurer during a Special General Meeting on Sunday. Saikia has been interim secretary since December, while Bhatia will replace Ashish Shelar. Saikia and Bhatia were the only candidates for their respective positions. The BCCI constitution requires filling vacant posts within 45 days, and this meeting falls on the 43rd day since Shelar's departure. ICC chairman Jay Shah will attend the meeting as a special invitee and will be honored by state units. Shah recently took over as ICC chief, replacing Greg Barclay.
