Department of Posts launches 24-hour and 48-hour speed post services in Chennai

Chennai will soon offer 24-hour and 48-hour Speed Post services for faster deliveries. These new services, 'Speed Post 24' and 'Speed Post 48', aim to serve the e-commerce sector with guaranteed delivery within specified times. The facility will be available at 97 post offices across Chennai divisions. The initiative is part of a trial in six metros, including Chennai, with features like one-time password verification and end-to-end tracking. Refunds are offered for delayed deliveries.
