Delta adds daily Austin-Cancun flights starting December 20
Delta Air Lines will start daily flights from Austin, Texas, to Cancun, Mexico, beginning December 20. This marks Delta's first international route from Austin Bergstrom International Airport and replaces Southwest Airlines, which has removed its flights on this route. The new service will operate until mid-April 2026 on Airbus A320 aircraft, offering various seating options and free WiFi for SkyMiles members. American Airlines will be the only other carrier on this route starting in November 2025. Delta aims to strengthen its presence in Austin, with plans for 406 weekly flights from the city, including connections to major hubs. The airline has partnerships with Aeromexico and KLM for additional global connections.
