Dell unveils Alienware m16 R2 gaming laptop with new design and upgraded performance

Dell has launched the Alienware m16 R2 gaming laptop, featuring a new design and upgraded Intel Core Ultra processors. It offers configurations with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, enhancing its gaming performance compared to previous models. The m16 R2 delivers strong gaming results, averaging 143 fps in Control and over 80 fps in Cyberpunk 2077. However, its Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor shows weaker single-core performance compared to older models, though it performs well in multi-core tasks. The laptop's design has changed, lacking the iconic light ring but maintaining a sturdy build. Battery life is average at 4-5 hours, and the display brightness is limited to 300 nits. The m16 R2 is priced at nearly ₹2 lakh for the top configuration.
