Delivereasy acquires Foodprint, reversing closure

nzherald.co.nz

Food-rescue app Foodprint has been acquired by Delivereasy, reversing its announced closure and saving the platform from shutdown. The merger took effect August 31, with Delivereasy integrating its delivery infrastructure into Foodprint and moving its own food-rescue platform, Gone Good, under the Foodprint brand. Founder Michal Garvey will leave the company. Delivereasy launched Gone Good in October 2025, signing up hundreds of vendors across 10 cities. The company cited shared goals of reducing food waste and supporting local eateries as key reasons for the acquisition.
