Delhi selects 82 gifted students for specialized education

Eighty-two gifted students from Delhi government schools have been selected for specialized education under Project Abhishikt, a program aligned with the National Education Policy. These Class VII students were chosen after a two-stage assessment, including intelligence and IQ tests, conducted in late 2024. The project aims to nurture children with exceptional intellectual abilities, offering a customized NCERT-based curriculum. The Directorate of Education also shortlisted 87 teachers who have received special training to facilitate the advanced curriculum across 15 designated schools. An orientation program was held Friday for the students, parents, and teachers.
