Delhi Capitals teams up with Sajid Mahmood to open cricket academies in UK

Delhi Capitals has partnered with former England cricketer Sajid Mahmood to open two cricket academies in the UK. The academies will be located at Farringtons School and William Perkin CofE High School, named ‘Delhi Capitals Saj Mahmood Cricket Academy.’ This collaboration aims to identify and develop young cricket talent. The academies will feature ECB-certified coaching staff to support trainees. This marks the first time an IPL franchise has launched two academies simultaneously. A trial session is set for November 24, 2024, with the first training session starting on January 12, 2025. The Delhi Capitals are also preparing for the upcoming IPL season, which begins on March 14, 2025.
