Delhi Capitals partners with Sajid Mahmood to launch cricket academies in UK

Delhi Capitals has partnered with former England cricketer Sajid Mahmood to open two cricket academies in the UK. The academies will be located at Farringtons School and William Perkin CofE High School, named Delhi Capitals Saj Mahmood Cricket Academy. This collaboration marks the first time an Indian Premier League franchise has teamed up with a former international player to establish academies. The goal is to identify and develop young cricket talent with the help of ECB-certified coaching staff. A trial session for the academy will take place on November 24, 2024, with the first official session starting on January 12, 2025.
