The death toll from three recent typhoons in the Philippines has risen to 14, as reported by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). Only five deaths have been confirmed, with two people still missing. Over 4.26 million individuals, or 1.15 million families, have been affected by typhoons Nika, Ofel, and Pepito. Among those affected, 124,144 people have been displaced, with many seeking shelter in evacuation centers. The government has provided assistance worth approximately 388.8 million pesos to support those impacted by the disasters. The typhoons exited the country between November 12 and November 18.
