DBS and HSBC lead mobile banking app rankings in Asia, report finds

A new report by Sia ranks DBS Bank's mobile app as the best in Asia, scoring 69, while HSBC's Hong Kong app and Ping An Pocket Bank tie for second with 67. The study evaluated 140 apps across 22 markets. Hong Kong and Singapore lead in mobile banking performance in Asia, but they fall short compared to some Western apps that better integrate partner services. The report assessed apps based on functionality, user experience, and feedback. Digital banks like Mox Bank and Trust Bank Singapore ranked fourth in Asia with a score of 65. Overall, Hong Kong banks had higher average scores than those in Singapore, while mainland China's digital banks ranked third.
