DayZ releases largest desert map, Badlands, in 2026

DayZ will release its largest map to date, Badlands, in 2026, introducing a new desert environment and survival challenges. The new map, set in the fictional Nasdara province, will span 267x267 km, featuring Middle Eastern-style cities and Soviet-era military bases, and will require players to manage heat and drought. The expansion, priced under $25, will introduce new gear and infected variants, and follows the less popular Frostline expansion, as DayZ continues to maintain a strong player base.
