David Wondolowski is now Chair of Port of Cleveland

David Wondolowski has been elected as the new Chair of the Port of Cleveland Board. He is the head of the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council and has a history of public service, despite past controversies. Wondolowski's election follows a period of scrutiny regarding his dual roles on the Port Authority and the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. He resigned from the elections board in 2022 after concerns about conflicts of interest. Previous chair J. Stefan Holmes will now serve as vice chair, and Peggy Zone Fisher has been named secretary/fiscal officer. Wondolowski aims to promote economic growth and diversity in contracting during his tenure.
