David Walliams Dropped from New Film After Publisher Cuts Ties Over Misconduct Claims
David Walliams has reportedly been dropped from the upcoming film The Road to Nevermore amid allegations of inappropriate behavior, following the end of his publishing relationship with HarperCollins. An unnamed production source told TMZ on October 28 that Walliams appeared on a preliminary cast list but never signed a contract. The 55-year-old comedian, known for Little Britain and Britain's Got Talent, strongly denies the allegations and is taking legal advice. The film, a comedy directed by Jane Spencer, follows two Irish poets in the Swiss Alps. HarperCollins stopped publishing his new titles in December 2025 and dropped his backlist in September 2026, despite his books selling over 60 million copies worldwide.
