CTA launches holiday bus and train to celebrate festive season in Chicago

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) will launch its holiday bus on Tuesday and the holiday train on Friday. This marks the start of the festive season for public transportation in Chicago, a tradition that began in 1992. The holiday train will run for 18 days, featuring Santa on a sleigh and decorated cars. It will travel on all lines, with varying routes each day until December 23. The holiday bus, which plays festive music and features Santa, will operate on various routes from Tuesday until December 21. Metra will also run holiday trains on six lines starting Saturday, but tickets are sold out.
