Crisden Academy launches vocational school uniting business, training, and talent in Reggio Emilia
Crisden Academy, a new vocational school uniting business, training, and talent, has launched with a pilot masterclass for students from Reggio Emilia's Chierici art school, culminating in a debut at the Lineapelle trade fair in Milan. Ten students are working in teams at Crisden's Mancasale headquarters from August 31 to September 11 to design and build a creative space for the company's stand at Lineapelle, held September 15-17. They receive daily guidance from company designers and technicians, developing sketches, prototypes, and final exhibition proposals for management. Founded by Denis Bedeschi, the academy will expand into three areas: vocational training for students, practical workshops for new hires, and a skills hub for current employees. Crisden, originally a strap maker, employs 150 staff and provides over 1,000 training hours annually.
