Creators can now monetize Facebook Stories globally
Meta has announced that creators in Facebook's Content Monetization program can now earn money from views on their Facebook Stories. This new feature is available globally but requires Stories to be public and is performance-based. Creators not yet in the program can apply through Meta's website. This move aims to attract more content creators to Facebook, competing with platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Earlier this year, Meta introduced a bonus program offering $5,000 to creators from other platforms who post on Facebook and Instagram. This reflects Meta's ongoing strategy to draw creators amid changing social media dynamics.
