Counter-Strike 2 reintroduces classic Train map with updates and new features

Counter-Strike 2 has reintroduced the classic Train map after more than three years. The map features a visual overhaul, improved gameplay, and new rain effects. Changes include more open bomb sites and adjustments to iconic locations, making it more accessible for new players. In addition to Train, the latest patch updates the Overpass map based on player feedback. Two new maps, Edin and a revamped Basalt, have been added for casual and competitive play. Smaller levels Palais and Whistle are also available for the 2v2 Wingman mode. The November 13, 2024 patch includes a damage prediction setting, performance improvements for incendiary effects, and enhanced ambient occlusion for first-person views.
