Côte-d'Or: fire destroys barn in Diancey, burns 3,000 m2 of vegetation near Dijon

Two separate fires hit Côte-d'Or on Wednesday, one razing a barn and shed in Diancey and another burning 3,000 square meters of vegetation near Dijon. At Diancey, 25 firefighters using seven vehicles contained a fire that spread from a wooden shed and barn to an adjacent home. At Velars-sur-Ouche, 45 firefighters mobilized for a vegetation fire on the RD 10 road, burning dry grass and scrubland. The Velars-sur-Ouche fire was contained by early evening, with cooling operations ongoing. At Diancey, crews continued clearing and cooling debris, while farmers helped contain a separate field fire.
