Costume designer creates unique looks for Erivo's quintuplets

Cynthia Erivo portrays five distinct quintuplet sisters in the "Poker Face" Season 2 premiere, requiring costume designer Leah Katznelson to create unique wardrobes for each. This episode, titled "The Game Is a Foot," features two murders for detective Charlie Cale to solve. Katznelson collaborated with director Rian Johnson to develop concept boards, differentiating each sister's look based on their personalities and professions, including an artist, a DJ, and an apple farm manager. Erivo had only three hours to fit all five characters. The costumes, inspired by the show's 70s noir aesthetic, ranged from a vintage denim jumpsuit to a brown tweed suit, reflecting the sisters' diverse backgrounds and providing clues for the detective.
