Costco and Electrify America launch EV charging stations in California, Colorado, and Florida

Costco is partnering with Electrify America to install EV fast-charging stations at five new locations in California, Colorado, and Florida. This marks Costco's return to EV charging after abandoning the service 12 years ago. The new stations will support various EV brands and offer charging speeds up to 350 kilowatts. Customers can find and pay for charging through the Electrify America app, while Costco will set the prices. This expansion follows Costco's recent installation of a DC fast-charging station in Washington. The EV charging infrastructure in the U.S. is growing rapidly, supported by various networks and a new initiative to standardize charging protocols by 2025.
